This notice is provided when we collect personal data directly from you in connection with an interest in a property, presentation, viewing, offer, mandate or brokerage agreement. It is not consent. Where consent is required, it is requested separately.
Purposes and legal bases
• Managing requests, searching for/presenting properties, arranging viewings, handling offers and performing a brokerage agreement: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps.
• Compliance with tax, accounting, regulatory and other legal duties, including due-diligence obligations where applicable: legal obligation.
• Security, fraud prevention, documentation of brokerage activity and support of legal claims: legitimate interest after balancing the relevant interests.
• Optional marketing and non-essential cookies: consent, where required.
Data that may be collected
Identification data (such as full name, profession, identity card/passport and tax identification number), contact details, property-interest criteria and history of presentations/viewings, offer and transaction data, and due-diligence information where required by law.
Recipients
Authorized ESTATEREAL personnel and partners; owners or interested parties to the extent required for a specific transaction; cooperating estate agencies; lawyers, notaries, engineers, accountants or other professionals; technology providers acting in accordance with applicable obligations; and public or supervisory authorities where a legal duty applies.
Transfers outside the EEA
Where a technology provider processes data outside the EEA, the appropriate GDPR safeguards apply, such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses, depending on the circumstances.
Retention period
Data are retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose of collection and for as long as required by tax, accounting, regulatory or other legal duties and the limitation periods for potential claims. They are then deleted or anonymized unless the law requires further retention.
Rights
As applicable, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. To exercise a right, contact info@estatereal.gr. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Requirement to provide data
Certain data are necessary for us to provide the requested brokerage service or comply with legal obligations. If they are not provided, it may not be possible to enter into or perform the relevant service. Data for optional marketing are not mandatory.
